We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. Romans 8:22–24
Your hope is as alive as Jesus. Hope in anything else but God can be a very dangerous thing. Why? Because sometimes your greatest wounds may be tied to unrealized dreams or unexpected disappointments. Do not allow the world to confuse your reality of hope. God established and secured your hope when he raised his Son. Therefore, your hope is as alive as Jesus.
We thank you for the calling you have set among us and before us. A calling that shall bring us into the greatest seasons of our lives. We thank you that in a hopeless world with formidable problems on every hand, you continue to remind us that our greatest hope is in you and what you are able to do. Thank you for faith that leads us into a promising future. Thank you that, according to your word, all things will work together for good in accordance with your great purpose. We hold confidence that your purpose for our lives exceeds even our greatest expectations of ourselves. Continue to lift us up in the motivation that our eyes have not seen, ear heard or mind conceived what you have in store for us. Remind us that when we are weak, you are strong. Remind us that your compassion towards us overlooks the faults of our past and graces us with inevitable mercy that is new every morning. For this, God, we have hope and we say thank you.
In Jesus’ name.
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” - Romans 8:31-32
What a privilege it is to be apart of the kingdom of God. When we are apart of God’s kingdom, God is “for us”, which means he is working on our behalf and for our good. Remember, we are spiritual beings having a human experience and that everything that we face is spiritual opposition. There is no one who could possibly be more powerful than God. The idea is not that we will never face opposition; it’s simply that our opposition is doomed to failure. They may be against us, but not successfully against us. Since God is on our side, we have nothing to worry about.
We thank you for your many blessings for us and in our lives. Bless your word in us. Give us courage in suffering and distress. Give us strength in weakness. Remind us that if you are for us, you are more than the world could ever stand against us. We boldly ask for your divine safety and protection over our lives and in our communities. You instructed us to always pray and pass the things we commit unto you in prayer. So, God we commit all things into your hands right now. We pray that you would assign strong and mighty angels to watch over the nations, cities, and communities. May you encamp each one in a hedge of protection to keep safe in all their ways. Thank you for the power and authority that you have given us over the enemy and any negative spirit and with that authority, we bind the enemy, every principality, and every spirit of weakness from hurting or harming those who belong to you, in any way.
In Jesus’ name.
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
“In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence”
THOUGHT OF THE DAY
Christianity comes with a heavy weight, but through adversity, tension and conflict, comes freedom and confidence. Jesus often spoke of the freedom humankind would find through him. We experience the freedom of Christ through God’s truth. If you look very closely at many of the miracles that Jesus performed, he asked those who would receive them “Are you willing to be made free?”. This is a question God is asking many of us. He ask us of this because freedom is based on our decision to accept God’s truth. God’s truth is that he will never leave you nor forsake you. God’s truth is that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. God’s truth is that before you were placed in your mother’s womb, he knew you and a very special plan for you. God’s truth is strong enough to free you and bring you confidence that the world can never take away.
PRAYER OF THE DAY
Sometimes we don’t know where to begin or how to pray. One thing we do know is that you have given us this grand conduit to speak with you and we are thankful. We are thankful that in spite of the complexities of our lives and communities you bring clarity to us in this world that you have it all in your hands. You told us in your word to not be anxious about anything but in everything to pray. We submit our hearts to you God as you know our needs and hear our prayers. We unite in the truth that the prayers of the righteous availith much. We praise you for your truth and the strength of your great power and we thank you that you haves et us free from the bondage of the world. Continue to extend your grace, grant your freedom, provide you protection and empower us with your strength.

Today’s Scripture: - Jeremiah 10:24
“Correct me, LORD, but only with justice - not in your anger, lest you reduce me to nothing.”
God is love! Above all things, God is love and has always been love. Our definition of love is much different than God’s definition of love. Our love is not only conditional, but it is also mercurial. We love based on feeling sand emotions that can change from one moment to the next. But, God’s love is unconditional, which means that His love is expressed towards the objects of His love despite their disposition towards Him. In other words, God loves without placing any conditions on the loved ones. God loves because it is in his nature to love. Let us aim to be more like God in not just being loving, but in the very way that we love as spiritual beings having a human experience.
We thank you for you being who you are. For surely if it had not been for you being who you are, we would not be who we are and we are thankful. We are thankful for your agility to turn pain into purpose, trouble into triumph, opposition into opportunity. You are a God who chooses to love us past our insecurities and shortcomings. Your kindness and mercy is irreplaceable.
Safeguard our hearts and the hearts of those we love with your type of agape love. Safeguard us in love that will help us to worship, honor and thank you for all of your good. Safeguard our hearts with the love that it takes to hodld on to faith and remain true to our hearts and the callings you have placed in our lives.
Clear our heads and fill our minds with expectation. Awake our slow body and energize our heart with love in action. Ignite our spirit and set this day on fire with promise through love. Make the ordinary extraordinary.
In Jesus’ Name
This is the day that you have made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. With gratitude, I thank you for preserving my life for one more day. With gratitude, I thank you for your ultimate gift of love for me, int he form of your son and the sacrifice of his life on my behalf. Because of this overwhelming fit that I often cannot comprehend, I humbly submit to you. I know Lord, that I am a mere human and cannot instruct you, but you can Lord instruct me. So teach me your ways that I may rely on your faithfulness. Teach us to number our days and to use our time wisely.
